A Bit of Good News and a Lot of Puppy Pictures!

Puppy Photos

I know that those of you who have reserved puppies from the Josh and Bekka litter are eager to see new photos. These were taken at age 5 weeks, 2 days.

I finally decided on names for all the gold girls. These are our names for them, so if you have reserved a gold female, you can certainly change the name when you get her home. We just need some way to tell them all apart around here.

Gracie - 5 weeks

Gus - 5 weeks

Izzy - 5 weeks

Jampa - 5 weeks

Trinket - 5 weeks

Xena - 5 weeks

Millie - 5 weeks
Life has been busy around here with all the puppies. As you know, Onyx had her litter two weeks ago. We have three females available. The other four puppies have been reserved. If you are interested, let me know. The Breaker and Onyx puppies, especially the girls, are hard to tell apart. All are black and the distinctive markings come down to the length of white hair on their feet!

Two Females - 2 weeks old

Two Males - 2 weeks old

Black Female - 2 weeks old

Two Black Females - 2 weeks old
 Other Good News

We have a new champion! Autumn finished the requirements (and then some) for her championship shows in Jefferson, WI. The Saturday win was her 4th 3 point major, giving her a total of 16 points. (15 points are required for a championship and two of the wins are required to be  3, 4, or 5 point major wins.) Now, majors are hard to find due to fewer Lhasas being shown nowadays. I gave other exhibitors the option of me keeping Autumn in the Sunday show or not showing her at all. It was decided to keep her in so the major would hold and, hopefully, another one of the females entered would win it. I had  to show her since she was entered in the Bred By Exhibitor class. However, I decided not to show her myself in the Winners Bitch class, thinking that perhaps with a different handler she might be at a disadvantage and not show as well for someone else as she shows for me. It was a good plan, but it did not work. The judge selected her as Winners Bitch (another 3 point major), Best of Winners, and Best of Opposite Sex. I'll post her show photos when I get them. The one below was taken after a win in March.

We have been blessed with beautiful Lhasas over the years. We try our best to breed Lhasas that are great representatives of the breed, whether they go to show homes or pet homes. Thanks to those of you who over the years have trusted us enough to choose our puppies to be part of your families.
